1. You miss your friends. What do you do?
I miss my friends a lot at times, especially my best ones. What I do is Skype them a lot and always keep in touch. Make sure you tell them how you are feeling all the time so that they can help make you feel better.
2. You are homesick. What do you do??
Ok, say you really miss your home town but don't care a damn about some of your fellow 'friends'. This is very unusual, but sometimes I think that way about some of my friends so I might as well...
I would look at all the photos I have and try to picture me there. If this doesn't work, talk to your friends about it and they might help you. Also, finding a friend who you can trust to update you on the things that are happening around there, so you feel more included.
You might have always wanted to move to wherever, but you feel a pang of sadness leaving your friends. This is a more common case, and this is similar to what I felt so it will be easier to explain.
Always keep in contact with your friends so they can tell you what is going on. You can Skype them or use Viber, Hotmail, or many other apps where you can send them texts or video call them. You can also just call them.
You are really pressured in you new environment. What do you do?
After a few weeks, I had about 10 classes that took up all my time including my weekends. I didn't know what to do until i arranged a timetable to do all my stuff. I would start my homework the day I get it, and depending on my progress and how urgent other things are, continue. When I receive a large assignment, i spend my time working on it evenly, while putting other homework tasks in between.
Note: NEVER start on the last day. I have tried it, and it did not go too well...
Also, I don't recommend working on it all day. Take some breaks and switch to different tasks to refresh your mind...
